As a young child, I was fortunate enough to spend time painting with Peter Scott, the son of Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott. His tales of adventure and cross-cultural exchange ignited in me a deep-seated passion for exploration, which has stayed with me throughout my life.
With a childhood spent in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by the beauty of quintessentially English market towns and villages built from honey-coloured stone. After earning my BA in fashion and accessory design, I embarked on a successful career in design before becoming a proud mother of four.
Throughout my diverse career, I have donned many hats - from educator to writer, artist to creative director. What sets me apart from others is my relentless pursuit of innovation and my passion for travel, culture, and the younger generation.
Life has taken me through a rollercoaster ride of experiences - from surviving an earthquake that destroyed my home to teaching fashion industry experts how to create and sell their expertise online through "We Teach Fashion" and "The Fashion Student Hub". It is these experiences that have shaped me into the professional and inspirational person that I am today.
Drawing from my background in education, design, and content creation, I have spent the last six years working alongside my husband to encourage people to share and sell their expertise by creating online courses that cater to global markets.
As an entrepreneur, I am driven by a thirst for adventure and cross-cultural exchange. My love for Italy, in particular, has inspired me to deliver cutting-edge work in everything that I do. You'll find me painting amongst the olive trees or basking in the summer sun with my five stray cats when not busy with work.
I firmly believe that great entrepreneurs come from all walks of life and corners of the world. With a keen eye for innovation and a heart for adventure, I am committed to helping others achieve their full potential, no matter where they come from.
Also born and bred in the Cotswolds, it is not surprising that Cheryl and I met at school, became soul mates, and married and had four fabulous children. I love to travel, and for the past few years have taken over the role of personal photographer for my youngest daughter Tolmeia, whenever she needs me! To my amazement, my photos have been shown on Instagram and in magazines, including Vogue!
Aside from my love for travel and photography, I have spent the last 30 years designing, developing, and delivering highly interactive and practical learning interventions. My expertise lies in customer experience, leadership design, coaching, training, and development. I am passionate about continuously learning and sharing cutting-edge results with my clients. I believe in the power of collaboration and building strong relationships, which is why many of my clients have become long-term friends.
When I'm not working or travelling, I spend quality time with my wife, exploring our mutual love for Italy. And on our little patch of land, I love growing and tend to my vegetable garden. I'm always finding ways to make it a sustainable living area for the future.
Also born and bred in the Cotswolds, it is not surprising that both Cheryl and I met at school, became soul mates, went on to marry and have four fabulous children. I love to travel, and for the past few years have taken over the role of personal photographer for my youngest daughter Tolmeia, whenever she needs me! To my amazement, my photos have been shown on Instagram and magazines now!
For the past 30 years, I have designed, developed and deliver highly interactive and practical learning interventions, both face to face and latterly online.
My background is in customer experience, leadership design, coaching, training and development. My passion is to keep learning, enabling me to share cutting-edge results with my clients, and to keep them as friends.
I believe sound design and good relationships come from collaboration, and I am always excited to start a visual dialogue, learn about new people, and make something beautiful together.
I share my love of Italy with my wife and can be found tending and growing my vegetable patch, turning it into a sustainable living area for the future.
Our story began in 1998 when we launched The Customers Shoes in Nottingham, the historic centre for shoe production in England.
Our launch event was at The National Shoe Museum on Saint Crispin and Saint Crispinian's Day. They are the patron saints of cobblers, tanners and shoemakers, so it seemed like the perfect fit (no pun intended).
Due to our success, we became a Limited company in 2009.
We now have over 25 years of experience in the industry, producing exciting learning experiences for businesses and brands in the UK and Worldwide.
